In the roadmap for the 2016 Rio Olympics, we faced the exciting challenge of dominating the vibrant city of Rio. As a sponsor of the Brazilian Olympic Committee, Nike set its sights on becoming the premier brand in Rio. Teaming up with Grupo Sal, we embarked on a mission to craft a locally resonant concept for the brand. Recognizing Rio's unique identity as a haven for outdoor sports, where nature and athleticism intertwine unlike anywhere else on the planet, we conceived the ATHLETES BY NATURE brand perspective.
To bring this vision to life, Nike launched the first social account dedicated to a city outside the US at that time. As the Digital Brand Manager at Nike, collaborating with Grupo Sal, we spearheaded this innovative initiative, merging storytelling with digital and Rio's captivating essence.
